Accused Memorial Day Killer Gets Grand Jury

LINCOLN COUNTY, MS (Ben Caxton) — The case of the man accused of killing a deputy and seven others over the Memorial Day weekend is headed to a grand jury. Willie Corey Godbolt appeared before a judge in Lincoln County yesterday for his preliminary hearing and the judge ruled there is probable cause for the case to be heard by a Lincoln County grand jury. He has been jailed since his arrest May 28th, shortly after fatally shooting people at three different houses.
