A pre-sentencing investigation is underway for Yvette Yeager, who avoided trial by pleading guilty to charges that she embezzled from the City of Greenville while working as its Parks and Rec Director

She allegedly stole 85-thousand dollars over a nearly five year period through a system that involved fake receipts. The money was taken from the Greenville Municipal Golf Course. Yeager had worked for the city from 1997 through November 2012, when she resigned shortly before news of the allegations came out. She faces the possibility of prison time, and has been ordered to repay more than 115-thousand dollars, which is the amount that was taken plus interest and costs associated with the investigation.
