Bryant Maurice Kennedy has accepted a plea deal in a disturbing case in which he and two other Greenville police officers were accused of knocking a man to the ground during a traffic stop in May and stealing his wallet. Kennedy was accused of taking some 13-hundred dollars in cash from the wallet, and giving Officers Cedric Sorrell and Samuel McVay 100 dollars each for their part in the alleged conspiracy. They also face charges in the case, and none of them still work for the Greenville Police Department.
