40th Annual Pancake Breakfast Underway Now In Greenville

Chicot Memorial

GREENVILLE, MS (Ben Caxton) — If you’re hungry for pancakes, sausage, bacon, and more you’re in luck this morning. Kiwanis Club members are doing the cooking right now over at the Buster Brown Community Center across from the Greenville High School until about 10:30 this morning, and it’s all you can eat. Five dollars gets you all you can eat pancakes, bacon, and sausage along with chocolate milk, juice, and coffee. The club expects to serve some 1,500 breakfasts this morning, and raise about $10,000 in the process. All of the money is distributed to children’s groups throughout the Delta to help kids with scholarships, going to church camp meetings, and similar activities throughout the year. This year mark’s the Greenville Kiwanis Club 40th year hosting the breakfast.
