3 More Cases Of Chronic Wasting Disease Confirmed

HATTIESBURG, MS (Ben Caxton) — Three more cases of chronic wasting disease have been confirmed in Mississippi deer. The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks says the cases were confirmed this week in Benton and Marshall counties. That brings the total to 19 cases confirmed in Benton, Issaquena, Marshall, Panola, Pontotoc, and Tallahatchie counties. The fatal neurological disease affects deer, elk, and moose.
