$25,000 Grant For IPads In Monticello Schools

Chicot Memorial

MONTICELLO, AR (Ben Caxton) — Monsanto is sending some money for iPads to Monticello schools. The district will be receiving $25,000 which they will use to purchase iPads for the Monticello Intermediate School’s Project Lead the Way model classrooms. Area farmers nominated the school district and the grant through the “America’s Farmers Grow Rural Education” program, which is sponsored by Monsanto. Since 2011, the Monsanto Fund program has awarded more than $9 million to rural school districts to enhance math and science education.
