22-Year-Old Facing Death Penalty in Arson Case

Chicot Memorial

GREENVILLE, MS (Ben Caxton) — An autopsy in last week’s Greenville arson revealed that the victim, 36-year-old Audra Mack, had been strangled, and then stabbed before her house was set on fire with her inside. Greenville Police now say the motive was robbery, and have arrested a man in connection with Mack’s death. 22-year-old Eddie Browley Jr. is in custody and being held on capital murder charges, which if convicted, could lead to the death penalty for Browley. No bond has been set at this time.
