Funeral held for teen murder victim

Funeral services have been held for Brandon Lockridge, Greenville’s sixth homicide victim of 2014. He had just recently turned 17 years old when he was fatally struck in a North Broadway apartment by bullets that were fired from outside. The funeral was held at True Vine MB Church.



Harlow’s celebrates New Year’s Eve

A Teen Summit is planned in Greenville on Monday

The event is hosted by the Greenville Renaissance Scholars and will be held at noon at the E.E. Bass Cultural Arts Center. The summit will focus on current events, such as recent tragedies involving police officers, and give young people the opportunity to ask questions and give their opinions.
