A Greenville man is in custody for burglary

Police say a homeowner heard 22-year-old Charles Howard breaking into a house on Wanda Street and shot him. The suspect was grazed in the head and later found on Sewannee. He was treated for the injury and booked into jail on a charge of burglary of an occupied dwelling.
