$1M Bond Set In Bradley County Holiday Shooting

BRADLEY COUNTY, AR (Ben Caxton) — An Arkansas man was given a one-million dollar bond yesterday in a Holiday shooting death. At his first court appearance 36-year-old, Laron Hayes Jr. was formally charged with 1st-degree murder in the death of 31-year-old Colby Allen Rice, of El Dorado on December 26th. Hayes was arrested by the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office with assistance from the Warren Police Department Wednesday in Warren at a residence on West Central Street. In addition to the 1st-degree murder charge, Hayes also has been charged with 1st-degree terroristic threatening and aggravated assault.
