THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A

* TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF
EASTERN ARKANSAS
SOUTHERN ILLINOIS
WESTERN KENTUCKY
SOUTHEAST MISSOURI
NORTHERN MISSISSIPPI
WESTERN TENNESSEE

* EFFECTIVE THIS TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING FROM 1220 PM UNTIL
700 PM CST.

* PRIMARY THREATS INCLUDE…
A FEW TORNADOES POSSIBLE
SCATTERED DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH POSSIBLE

SUMMARY…STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE FORECAST TO EVOLVE
ACROSS THE AREA OVER THE NEXT FEW HOURS. STORMS CAPABLE OF DAMAGING
WINDS AND A FEW TORNADOES CAN BE EXPECTED.

THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 75 STATUTE
MILES EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 50 MILES WEST NORTHWEST OF
OWENSBORO KENTUCKY TO 40 MILES SOUTHWEST OF GREENWOOD
