  1. Where is the DDT on this?

A 15 year old kid gets shot and killed on a bike, the community is up at arms, the mayor is issuing press releases and making speeches … and not only is it not in the local newspaper print edition … it’s not on their website 26 hours after it happened.

A few weeks ago their top story was that the police were looking for a man wanted for murder – three days after he’d already turned himself in – while ignoring completely a story about a second murder for days.

I seem to recall how they said mail delivery of this rag was supposed to improve service and how their dedicated staff would be updating their website even on days when there was no paper. Yeah right.

Meanwhile, today’s edition features a picture of a man in a dog costume wearing a fire suit, and a friendship between a shark and a shrimp. Good Lord. Worthless.

    I agree with their editor.

    The DDT is definitely “history”.
